Fantasy Brewery-Off 2024
We are starting a new event that is a cross-over between Fantasy Sports and Beer! This is a 6-month-long competition where participants put the month's chosen beer style up for judging from their own list of "drafted" breweries. Top 3 winners receive a prize.

About the Event
As the NFL year comes to an end, the Homebrew Club will be starting its own Fantasy Brewery Draft. In the spirit of fantasy sports, participants will be drafting local and national breweries. Each month there will be a randomly drawn style from 12 potential options (drawn out of a hat at the monthly meeting). You must bring enough cans/bottles (at least ~20 oz) of the best version of that specific style brewed by one of your own drafted breweries. It will go up against others at each monthly club meeting. Each submission should be covered/blinded and will be judged by homebrew club members and ranked for points. You can join as a team or go solo. Depending on the number of participants, you may use a brewery more than once. Top 3 winners gets a big prize provided by the Homebrew Club. If unable to make a meeting, feel free to leave at Genus or give to another member to submit.
This event is to help promote the love of beer and friendly competition. In the future, our club is hoping to do a Fantasy Brewing Draft where participants homebrew their submissions with drafted ingredients.
UPDATE: Brewery Draft is set! Please see our Instagram page and/or Facebook page to see what everyone drafted. Players will bring their choice of beer to each Third Thursday Meeting at Genus Brewing and Supply. If you are not participating, join our club and help judge the beers by coming to one of our homebrew club meetings!
